Health on the Net Foundation

The HON Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization, internationally known for its pioneering work in the field of health information ethics, notably for the establishment of its code of ethical conduct, the HONcode. Drugs.com's first HONcode certification review was in 21st December 2001 and was maintained until mid 2021.

Service Discontinued

As of December 15th 2022, the HON web site and certification review program is no longer maintained. However, Drugs.com continues to maintain ethical editorial standards equivalent to, or exceeding HON Code certification.

AACI Healthcare

In 2022, we employed the services of a new accreditation provider and certification auditor, AACI Healthcare, to take over the role previously taken by HON.

Trustworthy Accountability Group

In 2024, we joined the Trustworthy Accountability Group. TAG is the leading global initiative fighting criminal activity and increasing trust in the digital advertising industry. TAG advances its mission by promoting and sharing best practices worldwide. The TAG community includes the world's largest and most influential brands, agencies, publishers, and ad tech providers.
