May 12th, 2024: Added reference to Consumer Health Privacy Policy for WA residents from whom we collect personal information. Updated the number of users requesting to close accounts.

November 14th, 2023: Removed references to forum. We do not publish any public forum.

November 1st, 2022: Revised statement about sharing Personal Data. It may be used to personalize advertisements (our our domain or others) and that we utilize the data for anti-fraud, quality and security purposes.

October 12th, 2022: Clarified that Service Providers may be granted access to Personal Data.

June 10th, 2022: Revised third party advertising statement to include ads.txt and app-ads.txt.

November 3rd, 2021: Clarified the use of Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers to the United States.

July 8th, 2021: Updated the policy for CCPA compliance.

March 16th, 2021: Added LiveRamp opt-out page.

February 12th, 2021: Updated interest-based advertising opt out pages.

August 9th, 2020: Revised statement for Third Party Data Sharing to make it clearer that we share information for the purpose of contextualizing and personalizing advertisements.

March 9th, 2020: Updated the policy to reflect United Kingdom's status as no longer a Member State of the European Union.

December 30th, 2019: Additional clarity on the categories of data we collect, disclose or sell, along with the definitions for such categories as required by CCPA. Additional details on the user’s rights when using the Service.

November 13th, 2019: Additional clarity on Personal Data. Specifically, we added a definition and further explained our use of Sensitive Personal Data.

November 10th, 2019: Additional clarity on third-party data sharing. Specifically, that we may share Personal Data, Usage Data and Tracking & Cookies Data for the purpose of contextualizing and personalizing advertisements.

March 12th, 2019: Additional clarity on disclosure when required by law. Additional details to explain that we follow generally accepted standards to protect personal information.

November 6th, 2018: Additional clarity on data sharing with third party analytics and advertising providers.

October 2nd, 2018: Added more specific instructions on how to request removal of information from the Drugs.com web site.

May 22nd, 2018: Revised statement to comply with GDPR regulations. Added various definitions, updated data transfer and disclosure statements and declared Drugsite Trust as a data controller.

April 15th, 2018: Revised statement in Registration section to include health and medical information and declare that we do not share any personal information with any third parties except for the purpose of collecting and reporting aggregate drug usage statistics or when required by law.

July 3rd, 2017: Revised TRUSTe statement, added more specific information in regard to third party service providers and updated statements on tracking technologies and disclosure of personal data. More specifically, we may share your information with third parties who provide services on our behalf. They are authorized to use the information only as necessary to provide these services to us. We may also disclose your information in response to lawful requests.

June 26th, 2017: Additional clarity on user created profiles. Specifically that usernames become publicly visible on the Drugs.com web site upon registration.

September 12th, 2016: Additional clarity on user created profiles. Specifically that ANY profile you create will be publicly accessible unless otherwise stated.

July 25th, 2016: Additional clarity on third party service providers. Specifically that we do NOT share personal information with these entities. Removed reference to Flash LSOs, which are no longer utilized.

November 9th, 2015: Added clarity on third party service providers and what information we share with these entities. Added link to specific Mobile Application Privacy Policy.

August 13th, 2015: Our employees do not directly access or share personally identifiable information with any third party. A clause was removed in relation to this. A clause was added stating we will respond to support requests within a reasonable timeframe.

April 8th, 2015: A clause was added, stating that personally identifiable information will be de-identified, analyzed and compared at an aggregate level for statistical purposes. More detail included regarding Flash LSOs (Local shared objects). Added more information about public profiles.
